  • My family loves this restaurant for their authentic Taiwanese dishes. We tried a few new dishes each visit, but there some dishes we ordered all the time like crispy corns, spicy duck, and whole fish with cabbage. Tonight, we tried a new spicy chicken dish. It’s a yummy dish, but it may numb your mouth for about 10 minutes. There might be a wait if you stop by during peak hours. Parking shouldn’t be an issue. You can park on the street or park at the city free parking lot across the street. Lastly, their servers are super fast and friendly. Two things that I hope the restaurant can improve: 1. May want to use Jasmine tea for their hot tea 2. Try different version of chili oil Overall, we are happy with this restaurant and highly recommended!!

  • Excellent traditional Taiwanese dishes in a clean and simple setting. The oyster pancake was fresh and tasty - although a bit more egg and sauce would have been appreciated. Still good nonetheless. The roast beef in scallion pancake was very good with the right balance of fillings and hoisin sauce. The pickled cucumbers were fresh with nice heat and crunch with the tang of vinegar that hit the right note. The pork and pickled vegetable noodle soup was flavorful with thin noodles cooked perfectly. Service was efficient with two servers easily handling the small but filled dining room. And as a nice touch, the bathrooms were pleasantly spacious and clean, which is usually not the case in moderately priced non-chain restaurants. Definitely a very good place and worth a return visit (or three!).

  • We recently visited Taipei Cuisine in Quincy, MA, looking for authentic Taiwanese-style Chinese food, and it did not disappoint. Traveling from Houston, we were excited to find a spot that felt authentic without being intimidating. Atmosphere & First Impressions: The decor is traditional and the seating is cozy, giving the restaurant a warm, inviting feel. When we sat down, we were served Oolong tea, which was a lovely surprise — warm, unsweetened, and flavorful, the kind of tea that doesn’t even need sugar. Service: The service was fast and attentive. Our server made us feel comfortable, and the menu included English descriptions, which was super helpful for navigating dishes we might not be familiar with. Without them, we might have felt a bit overwhelmed or out of place. Food: We ordered: Scallion pancakes – classic and exactly what you expect: crispy outside, flavorful inside. Beef skewers – perfectly seasoned and cooked. Beef chow foon – looked just like the picture and tasted just as great; noodles were cooked perfectly. Pork soup dumplings – warm, juicy, and delicious. My husband rated these a 10/10. Salt and pepper chicken – hot, crisp, and flavorful. We were so excited to eat that I forgot to take pictures of the entrees. I only managed to take pictures of the tea, dumplings, and scallion pancakes, and even then, only halfway through! Portions were generous, perfect for family-style dining. Everything came out hot and well-prepared, showing attention to detail and quality. Value & Convenience: For $54 for two people, we left completely full, making this a very reasonable option for authentic Taiwanese cuisine. It’s also a fantastic choice for Chinese food without venturing into downtown Boston and dealing with traffic. Overall: Taipei Cuisine delivers a solid Taiwanese experience — flavorful food, warm tea, quick service, generous portions, cozy seating, and a menu that’s easy to navigate for non-locals. We’d definitely return for another meal and recommend it to anyone craving authentic Taiwanese dishes in the Quincy area.

  • We stopped by for dinner on Sunday. It was busy. Make reservations in advance. We got the cucumber in chili sauce. It was a good hit of sour and spicy. The cabbage dumplings were flavorful and juicy. The scallion pancakes were crispy and not oily. We got the Dang dan noodles with peanut sauce. I'm a bit disappointed. Lack with flavor. We got the grilled fish with tomato sauce. The fish cooked perfectly. The tomato sauce compliments the fried fish. I would definitely order the grilled fish with tomato sauce again.

  • This place is amazing. Service was friendly and food came out reasonably fast. They serve unsweetened, hot oolong tea instead of water and it is very nice! We ordered the beef skewer, scallion pancakes, pork soup dumplings, salt and pepper chicken wings, and beef chow foon. Everything was delicious, super flavorful and very authentic Taiwanese food. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area!

  • no matter you eat in or take out, Taipei Cuisine never let you down! I am Taiwanese and I am telling you even many stores in NYC can't match their dishes!!! Yep, THAT good! service is friendly, and price is fairly in the pricy world right now especially for the lunch combo. I tried almost everything and I just love everything we ordered! Do try it, you are going to love it! Parking is a bit problem since the area is getting really busy now but not as bad as in Boston Chinatown.

  • We been coming here for years. The food has gotten better. We love the double Fish in tomato sauce. It is crispy and moist . The spicy beef in scallions pancakes is bomb. Soup Dumpling is so soft and juicy inside. Overall a good time. A bit pricey but everything is now
